A Blog For Caregivers

This blog is designed as a place for family caregivers to find relevant information about care giving support, education, respite care, and community services. Caregiver support is available throughout Southwest Florida, but it is not easily accessible to the older population and their loved ones who care for them on a daily basis. 65.7 million caregivers make up 29% of the U.S. adult population providing caregiver support to someone who is ill, disabled, or aged.

In response to the increased burden facing Americans, services and providers have begun springing up to provide services ranging from legal to healthcare. Simultaneously, communities have begun to increase their focus on providing services to the elder population. However, there are a number of older Floridians who have been left behind because they are not aware of these benefits, they no longer have the capacity to assist themselves, or they cannot afford any additional services on their fixed income.

We hope to answer these questions and more throughout the blog. Aging is one of the most difficult issues facing Americans of all ages.

We strongly encourage our readers to comment on our posts and provide us with feedback about the topics we include in the blog. This blog, much like our company, is designed to meet the needs of our readers not our own.
